Abstract
The report summarizes possibilities for 3D visualisation SAR data as generated by tomographic SAR imaging concepts. The following commercial tools were taken into account: Amira (VSG) and Imaris (Bitplane), but not investigated in detail. From the open-source tools the Visualization Toolkit (VTK, Kitware) and VAA3D were analysed. VAA3D turned out to be the most suitable one and its application to polarimetric, holographic SAR data visualization is described and demonstrated.
