Kurzfassung
Applications for near real time oil and ship detection, wind and wave based on satellite image data of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) like Sentinel-1 or TerraSAR-X are being developed and implemented as the first Copernicus services for Maritime Situational Awareness. The presentation gives an overview about the current service implementation, developed at the Maritime Security Lab Bremen and Neustrelitz, part of the Earth Observation Center (EOC).
