Abstract

This paper presents the extension of the discrete mode-matching (DMM) method for the analysis of microstrip multilayered structures filled with anisotropic material. The work contributes the theory behind this method for the analysis of microstrip lines. The validation of the results has been done with open literature and the commercial software HFSS. A very good agreement has been found between the results.
