Abstract

In the following bachelor thesis different possibilities of realization of a valve in the modeling language Modelica are presented and discussed. These valvemodels will take part in the dimensioning of bleedsystems of passenger aircrafts. Here, the main Focus is on the valvemodelling using the Eulererequations. Therefor this thesis will deal with various variants by Godunov to solve this strictly hyperbolic differential equations. For validation purposes a simple pipe with a valve using the CFD-program OpenFOAM is presented, wherby the creation of the computational grid is briefly discussed. These various physically approaches of the models result in partially obvious different�findings. The results are�finally compared against the background that a butterflyvalve is to be simulated using these models in Modelica.
