Within this document the setup for the GPPS (Gas Port Phase Separator) Test is described, where a mock-up model of the actual device will be used. The purpose of the actual device is to separate the liquid and the gases phases at the outlet port, used for pressure relieve of the tank vessel, such that on most, which not all, circumstances no liquid can exit the tank vessel and only gas is blown off. This device uses a technique where a bubble is trapped between two meshes such that prevents any other liquid to enter the device. The test setup is described in [1]. The operation and functioning has been demonstrated with previous test setups has shown successful operation of similar devices with conventional storable test liquids under ambient temperature condition for various operation modes such as flow speed and pressure differences. The intention of the following test is to demonstrate the functioning of the device under the cryogenic temperature conditions of liquid nitrogen and further investigate the operation and thermal effects. A series of test has been performed as documented in following sections. Each individual test had different objectives. The test where performed with LN2 as intended except from test #2, which has been performed with IPA as a reference to previous test.
