Abstract
This document describes the test TRL5-IRL2-#4 (1g two-trumpet demonstrator test) which is part of the Gas Port Phase Separator (GPPS) development in the framework of the Cryogenic Upper Stage (CUST) 1.2 project. The test was performed by the DLR Institute of Space Systems under a sub-contract from Astrium TE. The GPPS device aims at passively separating the gas and fluid phases in a rocket upper-stage tank under free flight conditions.
