Wind energy turbine wake vortex influence on helicopter rotor trim

van der Wall, Berend G. and Lehmann, Paul H. (2016) Wind energy turbine wake vortex influence on helicopter rotor trim. 20. DGLR-Fach-Symposium der STAB, 08.-09. Nov. 2016, Braunschweig, Deutschland.

Full text not available from this repository.

The wake of wind energy rotors is modeled as a tip vortex helix with a vortex strength estimated from its rotor thrust. A Bo105 helicopter and an analytical isolated rotor model are subjected to the wake. In both cases the trim perturba-tions generated by the wake are computed and compared to each other.
