Abstract
The goal to store, to process and to visualize data acquired from 3D sensors is challenging. Autonomous vehicles however, are required to analyse and to store 3D data from the workspace. This „big-data“ issue motivated the research on data structures for fast storage and access. The result enables applications such as 3D modelling, object recognition or visualization.
