Abstract

This presentation presents the results of the simulations of the ascent and descent trajectories of Falcon 9 v1.1, performed by DLR. The performance of the launch vehicle with and without landing on a barge of the first stage have been assessed. Conclusions on the re-usability method employed by SpaceX are drawn.
