Future operational scenarios with many unmanned aerial vehicles, advanced mission profiles and extended FMS functionality will require new human-machine interfaces. The presented approach allows for support in landing operations of multiple vehicles by means of Swarm-FMS functionality. Furthermore, a user interface is provided, that provides functions for the selection of a set of vehicles, assigning and changing formations, assign formation changes to manoeuvres, events, or particular positions in a planned trajectory. The interface is designed to be integrated in a ground control station infrastructure in a network, thus making complex traffic scenarios available.
