Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present the INTA Simulator of SAR Missions: SIMSAR, developed by the Spanish National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA) in the framework of the National Earth Observation Program (PNOTS). SIMSAR is designed to be a complete end-to-end simulator to evaluate the performances of SAR space systems. This paper gives an overview of SIMSAR purposes, describing its main functional blocks and implementation approach.
