Abstract

This document describes the Verification Section of the IOCS System.   The tasks to be performed by the verification section are: • Data Take Verification  • Instrument Health Monitoring  • Organization of Calibration and Verification Activities in the Commissioning Phase  • Overall SAR System Performance Characterisation/Verification  • Instrument In-orbit Verification  • SEC Auxiliary Product Verification Plan  • Long Term System Monitoring  There are two subordinated Volumes of this document which describe two Sub-systems of the Verification Section:   Volume 1: Data Take Verification Unit  Design Document  Volume 2: Instrument Health Monitoring Design Document
