Abstract

This document includes analysis of surface clutter suppression techniques for ice sounding radars fulfilling WP210 work package description of ACRAS project proposal. For the along track direction a detailed review of existing techniques from airborne or extraterrestrial sounder is performed. New techniques based on multiple aperture antennas and coherent combination of repeated tracks are proposed with respect to the across-track case. In addition interferometric and tomographic off-nadir techniques are analysed.
