We analyzed two Clementine UV-VIS stero image sequences that cover the crater Kepler and part of the Mare Orientale basin. Images were rectified on the basis of improved camera pointing data and Digital Elevation Models (DEM) obtained earlier (cf. Cook et al.; this meeting). This procedure allwed us to obtain image mosaics with precise registrations of color filter data. We determined spectral ratios and analyzed them for correlation with topography. This study of high-resolution images may reveal the mineralogy and chemistry of the lunar soil in areas of complex morphology where such analyses have not been possible, previously.Correlation with height may reveal stratigraphic layering and depositional history of surface material. Photometric effects, due to the varying angles of emission,in these images are also discussed.
