Kurzfassung
We present the measurement of unsteady 3D pressure fields in turbulent flows. The pressure gradient field is obtained based on the material acceleration of single particle trajectories from high-density particle tracking velocimetry (PTV), assuming the governing momentum equation. For the integration of the pressure gradient, we propose a new method that is based on Helmholtz decomposition and integration in Fourier space. We show pressure fields for two experiments, a large-scale convective flow in air and a jet flow in water.
