Kurzfassung
Wound Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) have found major applications in the aviation and aerospace technology and some other industries in recent years. The present work deals with the prediction of elastic properties of an oxide wound CMC material WHIPOX (Wound HIghly Porous Oxide) with the help of an inverse approach of the Classic Laminate Theory. A scaling factor is introduced which brings the influence of the porosity, Fibre Volume Content and the angle between the fibre orientation and the occurring stress. The strength of the material is determined with the help of the Tsai-Wu failure criterion. The non-linear behaviour of the symmetric laminates with certain fibre orientations is described with the help of the inelastic deformation gradient . The stress-strain behaviour of th off-axis laminates is predicted with the help of a damage factor DFL. The predicted elastic material properties and the strength of the material are compared and a good correlation is found with the different experimental tests such as the tensile test, the compression test and the shear test. The material models for different laminates are then implemented into the FEM Software ANSYS at the sample and the component level.
