was validated allowing for a thorough interpretation of experimental data. This paper focuses on the use of reformate gases and the influence of internal reforming. Experimental and simulated current-voltage characteristics and electrochemical impedance spectra were used to examine the temperature differences due to internal reforming within the stack which were found to have a major impact on performance. It is shown that similar performance can be obtained for different fuel gas compositions if temperature within the stack is controlled.
