Kurzfassung
The aeroelastic behavior of a thin plate has been investigated by applying two different optical measuring techniques: high speed velocity field (HS-PIV) and high speed structure deformation (HS-IPCT) measurements. The aim of the experiment is to solve Collar’s triangle of forces. Instantaneous pressure fields and aerodynamic forces are calculated from PIV data, structural forces are derived from the deformation measurements.
