Kurzfassung
The lifetime-based PSP measurement has several advantages compared to the intensity-based method however it is still not a common PSP technique in wind tunnel testing. One problem is a non-uniformity of lifetime distribution on the coating. Theoretically PSP lifetime is independent to an excitation pattern, dye concentration and paint thickness, however, the lifetime distribution is sometimes not uniform on the coated PSP. In this study, PtTFPP-based PSP for lifetime-based method is developed to improve the lifetime uniformity. As a result, we found that the lifetime uniformity of PSP is strongly influenced by the basecoat material. By selecting the suitable combination of the basecoat material and polymer, the non-uniformity of lifetime distribution could be reduced less than 1 %.
