Kurzfassung
In order to assess the feasibilty of future C-Band technology, the paper examines various aspects of signal propagation and satellite signal tracking at C-Band. In particular, aspects like range spreading loss, atmospheric effects, foliage attenuation, code and carrier tracking, code noise, phase noise and multipeth are discussed with respect to their performance at C-Band.
