Target Analysis using a 4-D Representation based on Sub-Aperture Decomposition of SAR Images

In this paper we suggest a target analysis technique for SAR images using a 4-D representation based on sub-aperture decomposition. This work is based on target analysis using joint time frequency analysis (TFA). In the state-of-the-art techniques of TFA, an analysing window contains only the target of interest, but in the technique suggested in this paper a larger analysing window is used containing also the contextual information for target analysis. This method provides a visualization tool for differentiating diverse targets.
