Kurzfassung
The present investigations analyze the influence of Variable Camber by Differential Flap Setting (DFS) on the aerodynamic performance of the DLR-F25 configuration in off-design flight conditions. Therefore, trailing edge (TE) flap deflections at the design point (h = 35000 ft) and off-design point (h = 29000 ft) are studied. The aim of the research at hand is to identify the optimal flap deflection angle for the corresponding flight conditions and thus to distinguish the difference in the aerodynamics due to DFS.
