Kurzfassung
This paper reports on PSP measurements on the SWiFT model (blended/hybrid wing body model) in the ETW. First, stationary PSP measurements were carried out using the lifetime method (multi-gating CCD camera) for selected measurement points. Subsequently selected data points (e.g. detachment flow) were investigated using timeresolved PSP measurements (intensity method using CMOS cameras, with 1 kHz image acquisition). And finally, a continuous PSP measurement (intensity method using CMOS cameras, with 125 Hz image acquisition) was carried out for a selected angle of attack range at a traversing speed of Delta_AoA = 0.12 °/s. Measurements were done at sub- and transonic Mach numbers and Reynolds numbers up to 48 Mio. Results from the PSP measurements will be presented. The time-resolved PSP results show, for example, a Reynolds number effect: buffeting can be recognized at certain Reynolds numbers in the PSP results.
