Goal-Based Regulations - Challenges in application

Kurzfassung

The presentation includes an overview of the principles of goal-based regulation including a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages. In the focus of the presentation are the identified research gaps, that block the development and certification of alternative designs beyond the given prescriptive general provisions. Solutions for efficient risk assessment, experiments, and simulations are presented in order to close the knowledge gaps.
