Kurzfassung
Regional aviation in Europe has a challenging past with declining demand. New aircraft types, like electric, hybrid-electric or hydrogen commuter aircraft with up to 19 seats may revive the regional aviation market. In this presentation, the prospects for such concepts from a German perspective are analyzed, including travel time benefits compared to car travel or scheduled aviation. The presentation concludes with a summary of benefits and challenges.
