Kurzfassung
This work investigates payload-induced signal deformations in the Galileo E1 and E5a bands and quantifies their impact on code tracking for a wide range of receiver configurations. Using high-quality dish-antenna measurements and carefully calibrated processing, analog distortions were estimated for the entire operational Galileo constellation. The resulting differential code bias maps reveal systematic, satellite-specific biases that can translate into user-specific positioning errors depending on receiver design. These findings underscore the importance of accounting for such effects in precision and integrity-critical GNSS applications and contribute to the refinement of signal models for Galileo-based services.
