Kurzfassung
The current developments within the Advanced Air Mobility domain, aim to extend aviation into the daily lives of more people than ever before. Especially the subset of Urban Air Mobility is promising to extend the current aviation landscape with new capabilities and technologies. The application of, for example, electro-mechanical actuators, electric propulsion systems, and higher degrees of automatization within Advanced Air Mobility aircraft could pave the way for their deployment in other aviation branches. The Department for Safety Critical Systems and System Engineering, as part of the DLR Institute of Flight Systems, has been setting up an avionics laboratory to support these developments. The goal of this thesis is to develop a concept for an avionics test-bed, based on the hardware provided by the laboratory. As part of the concept, relevant simulation components with interface definitions in a black-box style are specified. Furthermore, Product Line Engineering concepts are proposed as a way of managing the simulation components, with the goal of achieving a modular and easily adaptable overall simulation. The Product Line Engineering focuses on aircraft system simulations and allows for model transformations of individual variant models based on a 150% model and the configuration of variants from a feature model implemented in the Pure Variants tool.
