Kurzfassung
Within the frame of the European Space Agency (ESA) activity GreenRAIM, an extensive test campaign involving various monopropellants was undertaken. The primary objective of this endeavor was to develop a comprehensive, generic model for monopropellant thrusters within the simulation software ecosim Pro/ESPSS. In this context, an additively manufactured 1 Newton monopropellant thruster has been designed and tested. The detailed design of the thruster and the experimental setup are presented. The test campaign was conducted with 98 wt.% hydrogen peroxide as propellant and a commercially available Pt/Al2O3 catalyst
