Kurzfassung
In April 2022, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) launched the Environmental Mapping and Analysis Program (EnMAP), a hyperspectral remote sensing mission to monitor and study the environmental factors impacting our Earth. Covering the Visible, Near-Infrared (VNIR) and Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) in the range 418 – 2445 nm, EnMAP provides hyperspectral images with 30 m pixel resolution across a swath width of 30 km and can capture up to 5000 km per day. The high quality of EnMAP products is ensured by regular calibration measurements and the derivation of up-to-date and accurate spectral and radiometric calibration tables. To this end, there are five onboard calibration systems to characterise the performance of the VNIR and SWIR sensors.
