Kurzfassung
In this paper, a survey was conducted, identifying maritime infrastructures susceptible to attacks incorporating quantum computers, their relevant security functions, potential challenges for the adaptation as well as open research questions. We discuss several use-cases and propose suitable post-quantum cryptosystems based on NIST suggestions. In particular, we discuss ship systems (navigation, identification, IT and OT networks, and autonomous vessels) as well as maritime infrastructures (port and seaway operations, offshore infrastructure and situational awareness).
