Kurzfassung
An introduction to parameter identification is given and experimental modal analysis is presented as a special case of parameter identification. The requirements on input data for modal analysis are reviewed. Afterwards, different multi-degree-of-freedom methods for experimental modal analysis are presented with detailed mathematical descriptions. The methods presened include the Ibrahim-Time-Domain Method (ITD), the Least-Squares Complex Exponential Method (LSCE) and the Least-Squares Complex Frequency-Domain Method (LSCF). Stabilization diagrams are introduced to determine an adequate model order between overfitting and underfitting. Furthermore, they help to distinguish between structural poles and fictitious poles. Tools for the validation of the idenitified parameters are presented. And basic literature is cited.
