Kurzfassung
This lecture introduces the basic concepts of loads analysis for elastic transport aircraft. Selected steady and unsteady aerodynamic methods and simulation models for flight dynamics and loads (CFD and potential theory) are discussed as are methods and models for structural dynamics. An exemplary loads process is introduced which includes the selection of steady (maneuver) and unsteady (discrete gusts) load cases, the setup of the envelopes, the particular design speeds and altitudes, mass cases, as well as the post processing to filter the loads and to compute cut and nodal loads e.g. for structural optimization.
