Due to the necessary green transformation of the aviation sector, substantial investments, such as those for hydrogen infrastructure, are required, impacting the financial structure of airports of varying sizes and markets. Current reporting standards do not provide sufficient financial guidance for airport operators striving for sustainability transformation. This presentation addresses this research gap by developing a financial modeling framework as an effective sustainability management tool for airport operators.
