Kurzfassung
We report on an experimental study of different personalized environmental control systems (PECS) in passenger train compartments. Besides the main goal of increased thermal comfort, assessed using thermal manikins and local measurement probes, such systems also yield an energy-saving potential due to less strict demands on the main HVAC system.
