Kurzfassung
The Finite Element Method presents challenges in simulating large vibro-acoustic systems, particularly in terms of computational demands and memory usage. Determining the exchanged forces within dynamic models adds another layer of difficulty. In addressing these issues, this paper presents a new methodology employing Dynamic Substructuring and Component Mode Synthesis using the dual assembly approach. The method involves partitioning structural and acoustic domains into subcomponents, each distinguished by its natural frequencies and modal vectors. This segmentation leads to the formulation of an eigenvalue problem and the creation of the vibro-acoustic dual assembly matrix. The solution to this problem provides the natural frequencies and modal vectors of the interconnected system. To evaluate the effectiveness of the method, a practical example is presented and analyzed.
