Kurzfassung
In a metal-sulphur (S) battery, the cathode consists of activated carbon and S. Different infiltration methods are used to fill the pores of the activated carbon with S. The overall process is very time and energy intensive. In addition, only very small quantities of sample can be processed in a batch process in the processes established to date. For the processing of large quantities, the effort increases so much that the processes are not economically feasible. Our study shows a comparison between lab-scale and continuous industrial processes, as well as fast batch processes.
