Kurzfassung
Space propulsion systems using High-Test Peroxide (HTP) are a promising candidate for green, yet pow- erful access to space. Nonetheless, the use of HTP as an oxidizer requires a particular infrastructure for transport, handling and refueling of the oxidizer. To allow for a world-wide availability of this infrastruc- ture, the Responsive Space Cluster Competence Center (RSC³) of the German Aerospace Center has commissioned the Mobile Hydrogen Peroxide Transport and Storage Container (MoHyPer). The MoHyPer is based on a 20 foot ISO high-cube con- tainer and fullfils the tasks of storing, transporting and refueling of HTP. These crucial requirements are enabled in a single compact mobile container, which also includes all safety relevant infrastruc- tures. The MoHyPer can store up to 1100 liters of HTP, while ensuring that all HTP safety protocols are followed. Certified for transport on land, sea and rail, the MoHyPer enables a reliable, respon- sive and safe operation of hydrogen peroxide-fueled rockets or satellites (hybrid, biliquid or monopropel- lant), worldwide and flexible.
