Copyright, Software Licenses and Python

Kurzfassung

In this talk, I give an overview about copyright, software licenses, and what general aspects to consider if you publish an open source software package. On this basis, I consider practical aspects in context of Python such as tools to find out license information of your third-party libraries. Particularly, I will introduce REUSE which provides a standardized approach to annotate copyright and license information to your source code repository.
