Kurzfassung
The TRAILER (Tracking, Ranging And Identification using Laser Energy on the Road) research platform is a trailer-borne pan-tilt unit. Besides the uncomplicated exchange of optical sensors, it offers the possibility to integrate high-energy lasers. Future research topics will address the fields of laser-optical reconnaissance, as well as laser tracking and defending against threats from the air.
