Kurzfassung
Large quantities of renewable jet fuel with low carbon footprint are required to reduce GHG emissions in the growing aviation sector - Technical potential of 1st generation jet fuel from energy crops is very limited - Demand refineries with high-capacity FT-upgrading sections in order to convert FT-syncrude to jet fuel - DLR e.V. has developed a standardized and transparent methodology to evaluate production routes for alterative fuels, including: CAPEX, OPEX, net production costs, CO2-Abatement costs, etc.
