Kurzfassung
Wall pressure fluctuations on an Airbus-A320 fuselage in cruise flight condition are simulated using synthetic turbulence generated with the Fast Random Particle-Mesh Method. The fluctuating pressure within the boundary layer is calculated by solving a Poisson equation, which holds actually only for incompressible flows. The acoustic pressure fluctuations in high-speed compressible turbulent boundary layers may become non-negligible, and this acoustic part is not governed by the Poisson equation. However, results from the flight test on the Advanced Research Technology Aircraft Airbus A320 of the German Aerospace Center showed that, the acoustic contribution from turbulent boundary layers to wall pressure fluctuations is negligible compared to the hydrodynamic contribution. Therefore, we are encouraged to compute the fuselage wall pressure fluctuations via the Poisson equation, with which the computation can be more efficiently performed. Three different streamwise positions from front to back of the fuselage corresponding to the flight test measurement positions are calculated. One-and two-point features of the calculated wall pressure fluctuations are analyzed and compared to the flight test results.
