Kurzfassung
Due to the extensive technology portfolio resulting from the scope of the International Cooperation in Aviation Research (ICARe) project, this dissertation covers only 26 technologies pertaining to multi-criteria flight optimisation in a new air traffic management context, environmental impact evaluation, and radio control solutions & noise abatement procedures under the framework of optimisation of each flight phase and of overall flight at unitary aircraft level. The purpose of this dissertation is to identify technologies in accordance to research collaboration by an established country portfolio using analytical evaluation tools as a research coordination evaluation and technology portfolio analysis. The findings are then presented in the conclusion section including recommendations for further research or areas of interest particular to the ICARe project. Based on the comparison of both evaluation tool results and the overall technology portfolio distribution pattern, the technologies for electronic copilot and ground cockpit framework have potential to reach maturity stage in a relatively short timeframe, whereas, the least promising technology is low noise visual/instrument flight rules. Finally, given the fixed point in time for publication, this dissertation solely provides information up to this date. Therefore, the researcher recommends to closely monitor the implementation progress of each technology, which positively qualifies according to high research coordination scores and high technology portfolio rankings
