Kurzfassung
We present our ongoing research with respect to an in-house direct-current current transformer (DCCT) which is under development. The proposed sensor can be used to capture neutralized and non-neutralized DC ion beam currents using the fluxgate methodology [1-3] with proper electron suppression. A schematic of the main sensor system is shown in Fig. 1. It is aspired to conduct experiments on a gridded ion source with inductive coupling.
