Kurzfassung
With the objective to estimate the 3D sound emission of a full scale wind turbine, a tool chain is cur-rently being developed at DLR. The method benefits from a finite number of high fidelity 2D computa-tions and represents the sound generation of any blade element within a selected parameter range via bilinear interpolation. The large number of Mach and Reynolds number combinations at the rotor is reduced to a manageable amount of local flow conditions. The sound immission at defined observer positions will be finally derived by summing up the contributions from individual blade elements.
