Kurzfassung
Since several years the TU Clausthal, the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und –prüfung in Berlin and the DLR-Institute of Composite Structures and Adaptive Systems cooperate very successful: they founded the common research association Campus for Functional Materials and Functional Structures (www.campus-fws.de) and got several research awards. Now they have started the common PhD-program Selforganizing Multifunctional Structures for Adaptive High Performance Lightweight Constructions. It covers 18 dissertations, that are focusing on • selforganized forming processes of • multifunctional actuators and sensors, that are components of • adaptive lightweight structures. The main research fields are: • CFRP structures with potential-based oriented fibers and microoptical sensors • selforganized and 3D-printed biomimetical, hierarchical and periodic structures and their analytical formulation • potenzial-based oriented nanoparticals and piezoelectric multiphase-composites • transparent, lead free piezosystems with photvoltaic und biocompatible properties. Both, the Campus for Functional Materials and Functional Structures and its PhD-program will be presented in details.
