Kurzfassung
We present results from stereo PIV measurements conducted in turbulent mixed convection in a rectangular cell. The main goal of the investigation was to gain knowledge about flow reconfiguration processes which occur at a certain parameter range. For the measurements in the different cross-sections of the sample, a combination of HFSB seeding and a LED array as light source was used. Furthermore the flow reconfigurations occurred as isolated events which required a starting trigger obtained from simultaneous temperature measurements. First analyses show a connection between flow reconfigurations and significant changes in the temperature distribution.
