Kurzfassung

The DLR Bremen offers the performance of cryogenic sloshing and damping tests with the cryogenic test demonstrator (CTD). The tests are part of the FLPP3 program and should be made with liquid nitrogen as test liquid. The aim of the tests is to estimate the damping and frequency characteristic of the cryogenic liquid as function of the fill height and excitation amplitude. These tests were made for the linear first lateral sloshing mode. Additionally the forces and moments during the excitation phase of the liquid should were determined.
