Abstract

The topic of this thesis is to determine and set parameters for the simulation of a lithium-iron-phosphate battery. The simulation runs with the program DENIS developed by Dr. Wolfgang G. Bessler et al. It determines the electrochemistry and the multi-scale approach for the heat and mass transfer in the range of size from a battery below to nanoscale. In this disquisition the parameters are obtained by comparing the simulation with experimental data from different discharge curves at several C-rates and a 1C-rate at different temperatures. Further information can be received from impedance spectra on different states of charge. In the nal part there is given an outlook on the thermal simulation with DENIS.
