Abstract
Urbanisierung ist eine treibende Kraft des globalen Wandels und globaler Nachhaltigkeit. Vor allem Megastädte sind Verursacher und Betroffene dieses Wandels. Der vorliegende Beitrag untersucht die Nachhaltigkeit der Metropolregion Santiago de Chile. Er stellt ein integratives Konzept zur Analyse und Bewertung von Nachhaltigkeit vor und zeigt die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten am Beispiel der Wasserversorgung und des sozialen Wohnungsbaus. Dabei untersucht er sowohl die derzeitige Situation als auch zukünftige Entwicklungsszenarien.
