Abstract
The paper describes the underlying principles of Total Airport Management (TAM) as the enabler for SESAR prescriped Collaborative Airport Planning (CAP). The Operational Concept for an Airport Operations Center (APOC) to enable TAM describes how available information about the entire airport can be used for monitoring and guiding airside and landside operations. QoS contracts lead to Performance Based Airport Operations enabling a Performance Based ATM system. The objective is to have a pro-active instead of a re-active management leading to predictable and reliable schedules.
